Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio at 14 degrees of Scorpio, May 5, 2023 at 1:33pm

 A full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon are opposite each other in the chart. Which means that you need to find a way to bring a balance between the two energies that they represent. This month we are dealing with the Scorpio/Taurus axis. This is the Breaking down vs. The Builder, Emotional Instability vs. Emotional Stability, Temptation vs. Security. 

This Full Moon is an Eclipse so it holds more power. Eclipses lead to change and turning points in the collective, as well as personally. This Eclipse is a South Node Eclipse which serves as an outlet to release old energy so we can make room for new things. A Lunar Eclipse here can bring sudden awareness or illumination of things that you were not previously conscious of. This Eclipse may also ask you to explore raw emotional depths within. 

The Ruler of this Full Moon is Pluto. Pluto rules over things such as healing and the regenerative process, toxins, sex, death, taxes. Pluto's job is to uproot, to knock down, and to rebuild. This Eclipse could be a bit of a Tower moment, where things collapse, where they breakdown. This may be a difficult time while the breakdown occurs. Pluto went Retrograde just a couple of days before this eclipse so Pluto really wants to get to the depths and clear out old systems and ways of being. It will move out of Aquarius and back into Capricorn on June 11 to accomplish this. Where it will stay for the rest of this year. 

Mars is finally back online and not out of bounds, but now Venus is out of bounds. When Venus is out of bounds its energy leads to love and relationships. Are you currently in a relationship that has been needing attention? If you continue on this path the relationship will be thrown off the current road. 

Venus Out of Bounds is a great time to push your creative potential and flex your creative side. You may find healing by tapping into this. 

If you have been living your life in a way that others think you should, rather than what makes you happy. this would be a good time to make changes for yourself. 

This Full Moon has the Fixed Star Zuben Elegenubi conjunct it. This brings the energy of Social Reform to this Full Moon. 

Mercury and Venus in Mutual Reception: 

Mercury and Venus are helping each other out and are in each other's corner. If you need to have a conversation with someone about your values in relationships this could be a good time BUT only if you are both willing to go deep and have real talks to make real change.

Moon Quincunx Chiron: Deep healing is still a focus with this moon. You may feel like you're up against a brick wall, but you must continue feeling in order to heal. 

Moon Oppose Mercury: You may be having a hard time making decisions or you may be going over decisions you've made in the past. Do you follow your head or your heart at this time for best results? Is there a balance between the two that can be found? 

Moon Trine Mars: Motivation and the ability to keep moving is indicated. If an opportunity presents itself, take it!

Moon Oppose Uranus: Sudden changes in emotions and how you feel. How you thought you felt about a certain person or situation, you discover that maybe you rushed to that conclusion. You don't know where this change of feeling came from, but it cannot be denied. Again, you are going through the lesson of balancing your mind and emotions.  

What is Pluto doing this Full Moon?

Pluto Quincunx Venus: You may find close and personal relationships stressful. It can be a good time to dig deeper into issues for healing though. 

Pluto Square Jupiter: You must learn confidence, especially when faced with setbacks. 

Pluto Sextile Neptune: Social change. Changes in government very possible. There is a spotlight on social rights and freedoms. This can also represent spiritual warfare: light vs. dark.
